The design of sustainable beaches

At present, Delatorre Consulting is collaborating with local governments and the tourist authorities of different countries in the Caribbean area in matters concerning the Design, Adaptation and Management of Sustainable Beaches.

During the Congress, Serafí Mercadé presented what Delatorre Consulting’s team of experts and designers is doing and set the premises for what the Design of Sustainable Beaches should be. He also offered a detailed explanation of the specific problems that need to be solved before starting the design work. Finally he presented real examples of the designs that are currently being developed for diverse beaches and spas in the Caribbean.
